Pickups are not the whole story when it comes to the tone of an electric guitar or bass, but they can make an enormous difference. Pickups age over time as the magnet can weaken - some people like the effect that has on tone and some people don't. For a variety of reasons, pickups can also fail. Fitting new pickups can be a way of upgrading a budget guitar at relatively little cost. Whatever your reasons we aim to please.
